The firm was founded in 1970 by Thomas F. Londrigan and James R. Potter specializing in corporate and commercial practice and civil litigation. In 1975, the firm expanded with the addition of Craig A. Randle, followed by Alexandra de Saint Phalle in 1977. In 2003 the firm merged with the law firm of Londrigan & Londrigan during which time Timothy J. Londrigan joined the firm as a partner, and James T. Londrigan joined the firm as of-counsel. In 2004, Douglas J. Quivey joined the firm and Amy N. Williams in 2006.

The firm concentrates its practice in primarily two areas: significant personal injury and death claims involving automobile defects and products liability, medical and other professional negligence, and the representation of commercial clients with regard to business structures and the litigation of contracts and other commercial disputes.
